I don't think Yuki has shown enough consistency to be promoted to be honest, and he's quite an angry person as well. He is fast though and I think RB realised that, probably hoping he calms down and matures a little before being promoted.

anger is fine Tost says drivers who dont complain get easy forget .f1 is a dog eat dog world being brash has worked for Alonso

Keep the race (not racing) rhetoric away please. It is ofc just a question of money, opportunity. As always.

Helmut Marko not happy with Perez , what will be his replacement?
Somebody that won’t give the whole world a look at the floor each year at the one place the cars have to be lifted from the track!
Haha thats is spot on but during the race he also got damaged right ?

Seemingly, anything that isn't perfect. He's easily the driver that shouts and reacts emotionally the most on the grid. I'm not saying others don't, or that it's wrong, just that he's maybe the most extreme with it and you can tell it grates on the team a little with some of their responses to his messages.

I think most of the time others don’t press the radio button when they are cursing and shouting.

The perception on the performance of Perez changed drastically after last race? It is not long gone people were actively dreaming of a Perez WDC and look where we are now...

So far Perez is doing a decent season with two wins and two 2nd places out of 6 races. The last one was awful, okay but overall he is doing his job as expected (and apart from Monaco even a bit above).

He also crashed in Australia in Q1 after pushing too hard and would've barely had points until he was lucky with the last restart.. it would've been almost as bad as Monaco.

He's doing as expected when you view his previous seasons but he hasn't raised his game much.

However Miami was a 2nd place, he took a beating from ninth whilst on pole in the same car. That must have put a dent in his confidence as well.
I reckon he'll become more reckless before he starts focussing on 2nd for this year ..

I saw that too!

Of course it's the cars.....And the strategy..... And the setup choices..... And the pitstops.... And the driver....

It's a Team sport.

I guess Russel has been having a better car, then? He did manage a win last year. Easy troll to counter an even easier troll, offtopic mode off.

The budget cap will reign him in I think. He may have to use old parts if he continues to damage the car.
