very organic yoke LOL
He's 4 tenths off in first sector, and judging by relative S3 performance in previous laps I'd say Alonso wouldn't be that close to Verstappen, or at least not ahead of him.organic wrote: ↑17 Jun 2023, 23:36Perhaps not but yes, that does look like he would've been quite close to Maxsearch wrote: ↑17 Jun 2023, 23:16he had two purple segments that lap, but yeah, probably wouldn't have changed much

4 tenths off in S1, and only 5 thousandths of a second better than Max's S2. He'd have to have cut T10 to be anywhere close. The Aston is slow on the straights. S3 is his worst sector.Juzh wrote: ↑17 Jun 2023, 23:46He's 4 tenths off in first sector, and judging by relative S3 performance in previous laps I'd say Alonso wouldn't be that close to Verstappen, or at least not ahead of him.organic wrote: ↑17 Jun 2023, 23:36Perhaps not but yes, that does look like he would've been quite close to Maxsearch wrote: ↑17 Jun 2023, 23:16

Hulk will be dispatched in a few laps by alonso and both mercs and then the race will be on.
The race for P2 and P3, yes. P1 is already decided barring reliability.
Maybe. Max had slower race pace than Alonso in FP2. Admittedly they have changed a fair bit on the cars since then (different df config for max) but the signs are there that RB are not unbeatable anymore. They have scarcely upgraded the car compared to other teams.Just_a_fan wrote: ↑18 Jun 2023, 00:48The race for P2 and P3, yes. P1 is already decided barring reliability.
Going off of the end of Q2 when both Albon and Max had slicks and Max could barely keep up with Albon....RB have made a mess of the dry setup .organic wrote: ↑18 Jun 2023, 01:13Maybe. When was the last time we saw RB19 a second ahead in FP2? Like they have shown when they get into race? FP2 has never been a good indicator of race order. I do think the competition might have cut down some deficit, but beating Max's RB19 isn't happening anytime soon. He would be more than half a second up on second placed driver in races. Perez would keep making mistakes and will have some messed up races and he would be vulnerable from the improved cars.organic wrote: ↑18 Jun 2023, 01:13Maybe.
