I was never a fan of Hulkenberg but this year his speed is something I never saw even on champions like Vettel, Hamilton, Button, Rosberg. The guy seems like prime Alonso, constantly putting way inferior machinery where it doesn´t belong :o
Same! Hulk has found a next level! Finally a podium!? Let's go Hulk!

Entertaining sprint, thanks to the rain. Max winning was never in doubt though. Shame for Hulk, but the Haas ate its tyres.

So... Ham impedes Max, Max retaliates, no penalty. Leclerc impedes piastri, penalty.

The usual.
Can you imagine the reaction amongst the Orange Army if Max were to be penalised? The illegal flares would be on the track, not just in the grandstands.
Drivers shouldn’t be allowed to get away with illegal actions just cause it’s their home race
Did hamilton comment on the radio during that incident? The fia can't see everything all at once so they rely on the team to report it.

Hulk has always been underestimated but also crack under pression

I think he is Vettel / Raikonen level

T3 they all struggled, but i think at T5 Max knows what he’s doing. To me, he drives straight on blocking Perez, but it’s clever because it’s wet and he will just say he had no grip.

As for the sprint, just dominant. Perez comes second, but he was nowhere.

The rosberg move, though he did similar in Brazil 2021

That shot of Max's rear tyres in parc ferme, they look barely worn! The tyre management is something else.

Sprint weekends are great when you have mixed conditions and close fighting. Was a cracking race.

Yes, it really was. Lots of (too) close racing but well executed by everyone. Great conditions for a good sprint.

That was a remarkable sight. However, it could give them grief with the cooler conditions tomorrow.

It’s also the Max move.
