Macca results in qualy mostly down to :
- low track temps?
- a green track?
- setup more qualy?
- setup toward a wet race for tomorrow?
- the last 2 upgrades?
- a combination of all the above?

All of the above. Piastri was also going all out through sector 2. All risks taken, and rightfully so.

What's good is that from P3 to P7 was 1 tenth? Hopefully this carries on for the rest of the season to get the best out of the teams behind Red Bull. Furthermore it could also mean that drivers without confidence (Perez) could be having more difficult weekends.

What if I told you that McLaren should start 1-2 the race and Max should be penalized?

Penalized for what?
Max overtook before the yellow-flagged mini sector.

So McLaren's replaced Aston Martin as second best? I need to pay more attention to the team threads.

Well... it's a bit weird as that's at the end of the straight after T5 into T6 and the panel in T4 (panel 05) was on, then the straight after T5 has 2 panels (06, 07) and 06 was off but 07 was on. There's no way you turn on 05 and 07 but leave off 06, so either 06 was broken or slow to turn on or something like that.

You probably got excited about this  . The light signal is for sector 2, not sector 1. This has come up several times over the years.

Remember seeing the green flashing lamp post right in Baku 2021 just next to Verstappen's crashed car? That's because the light signal is for the following sector.

Doubtful. They both let off the throttle at the same time but Russell decides to brake hard when Max is right next to him. Russell then immediately calls it in. He knows what he's doing, so should the stewards. But not surprised you posted it.

Excited? :) My man... Max is going to fly by in 2 corners, it makes no difference to the final result of the race, it's not exciting in the least, just curious.

And as I wrote in the other post, panel 05 is on out of T4, then 06 seems off and 07 is on again, it's weird as the issue was far from S1 anyway but 05 was on so there's no point in not having 06 on too unless it's broken. Also apparently some drivers had the yellow flag light on the wheel and others didn't.

The cheapest sort of pride is national pride, every miserable fool who has nothing at all of which he can be proud adopts, as a last resource, pride in the nation to which he belongs; thus reimbursing himself for his own inferiority.

if that's the rule then he should be penalized as panel 05 was on so 06 doesn't matter if it's on or off.

I was gifted this video by Chris, and you can see into T4 (3s in the video) the panel is flashing yellow, then straight and then the panel is off and then next panel on. So it's weird at minimum.

Also Russell must have noticed because he pushed that brake pedal as if he was approaching a red traffic light after looking at his phone:
