Ruined Friday but quali has been good
Exactly. F1 wants to have the cars on track more throughout the weekend - that's what the sprint is for, after all. But this tyre change will have the opposite effect. Fewer tyres means less running. It's obvious to everyone.
If you are more fortunate than others, build a larger table not a taller fence.

Thanx a lot! Unfortunately, it was just about the new tyre allocation format ...
Can you summarize what the problem is with it? Is it limiting the ability to test?
It limits running in general. Max, Lewis and Lando have all spoken against it. Lando even said that if it hadn't rained, then people wouldn't have run much at all.
People pay for race weekend tickets to see F1 cars on track not in the garages.

When are new drivers supposed to settle and develop if there’s so little running? There’s the sim but it’s hardly the same as real track time.

Yes epic quali and max most likely did bottle that 6th consecutive pole

Shaping up for a tasty Sunday and a great season :D

Pole number 104. I thought it'd never come. Had to work for that one, with clearly not the best car atm. Impressive.

Didn't expect Lewis to get a new record this year..
Most poles at a single track by a driver.
Boom.

Exactly. And the tyre allocation rule will reduce that which is bad for the spectators.

I would have expected Lewis to lead after lap 1 even starting from p2.. Something similar to Australia.

Shame we are deprived of that.. I think the race pace won't be enough to hold Max/Lando personally
