When was the last time there was a car that was so clearly faster than the field? Schumacher in 1994?
Fixed it!
2016? Maybe 2020. Not very long ago.
Fastest car ever built, W11. Master piece. Still couldn't manage the records that RB19 has.

Probably charging his battery
Yeah he got it at the end
Heading into the final lap, Max had just enough to pit and come out ahead of Perez, RBR are just fed up with him calling for this and didn't bother telling him.

I am surprised Perez was able to win in Saudi and Azerbaijan considering the gulf we just got here
Yeah, his early season form just disappeared.
I think there was some learning about setting the rb19 up that occurred. Max was also very sick for a few races at the beginning of the season (claiming he couldn't breathe properly for much of the saudi GP etc)

Max will win the remaining races barring reliability. Checo is good but he clearly is not one with the car.

I felt Ferrari are getting better with settingnup their new package now and mistakes in Hungary and Spa sort of hid that. Good drive by Charles. Carlos really shouldn't be ahead of him in the points when you look at thier performances.

Albon was impressive. He just needs a better car from williams now.

George is always there but just not quite close enough. Strange for a driver who's great atboth qualifying and race craft! I think he's just not managing the mental side of it as he should. He's
Focusing too much on car 44.

The question was about speed relative to the field. That means the cars it is actually racing. Compared to the cars it is actually racing, the RB19 is quicker than the W11 was. LikeWise the RB18 before it.

RB18 was a lot slower across the whole season than RB19, and W11. Closest comparison to RB19 is W11/W07/W06/W05.

You mean like last year when Max did the same thing on this circuit?

Why would it be?

Alonso never got within 1.5 seconds once Lewis took off on his final lap.

GP was winding Horner up on the radio about going for fastest lap in the end. Think Horner had the last word on it. Not wanting to risk the good weekend they had had so far.

If it were, we'd see an RB 1-2 every week. Instead, we see one driver that is not guaranteed to be on the podium even. Good to see he did manage again this time though.
