I'm not sure it it'll be easy though. The imdb articale says '(TV)'. Probably it wasn't released on DVD. Shouldn't be hard to find a torrent.

I run ubuntu often, but snow leopard makes it look silly, and a small bug is worth investigating.

Switching over to another browser doesn't solve the problem for the rest of the people visiting this site with safari.

Really the os has nothing to do with it, besides osx is a type of unix. As a native install or emulated ubuntus dual monitor support is still a bag of hurt.

Still would rather suffer with ubuntus basic problems than maintain a windows system any day.

Vantage Point is one of the movies that has been able to literally feel hypnotical, highly recommended.
Also just yesterday i watched 'Love the beast'. Had no idea the Hulk was such a car lover, very nice documentary.

Yestarday I have seen "THE WORLD'S FASTEST INDIAN".

I wont tell any of you what it is about. I dont even recommend any of you to read the sinopsis. Just sit down and watch it... and let the surprise arise. "It's been the best film I've been in," Anthony Hopkins said... and thats a lot.

Certainly, one of those jewels that rarely appears.

I too have seen "The World's Fastest Indian", and it is excellent. It's a true story about an amazing man. I don't want to be a spoiler, all I can say is that it gives character to the spirit of competition and perserverance.
Racing should be decided on the track, not the court room.

Vantage Point (not a racing movie) started off great, then at about the 3rd viewpoint I got bored. But after the very last one till the end was great.
I like to call it a movie that one may see once and that's it. You don't really need to bother watching it on and on.

Will get it then. I've heard other people speak highly of it but I really never got around to see it. Thanks for bringing it up.

I had no idea what movie you guys where talking about... because Vanishing Point here is badly translated... but yes! I have seen the 1997 remake and I was told the original one is even better, so Im taking note to see this one.

My 2c:

LeMans, Grand Prix, World's Fastest Indian, Cars, and Talladega Nights are all great movies. French Connection is the reason I will some day own a '72 GTO. Days of Thunder is on my list of movies to see.

If anyone's looking for some good reading that goes down really quickly, check out The Driver by Alex Roy, the current Cannonball record-holder. It's a little self-congratulatory but I guess all autobiographies are...I'll tell you one thing, though, once you finish you'll want to start the car and put your foot all the way in it for sure.

A quick blurb on "The World's Fastest Indian". This movie is the exact opposite of such films like "Speed Racer". If you only want fast car scenes, overwhelming special effects, earthquake sounds, and bright colors, this movie will bore you to death.

Just read it about a month ago. Love the book. Easy read indeed.
I used to read it a lot on the train and I got two dates out of it. Girls wondered what I was reading and asked so I would tell them. Still seeing one of them right now so not bad. I guess she hasn't seen the a-hole in me yet.
