Any laptime charts yet?

That would be actualy quite cool to include a road car race (with passengers) in every F1 weekend. Imagine that door-banging between Lewis in the SLR and Massa in the Scuderia, and Alonso driving the wheels off his Megane to keep up

Good morning to a chilly Nürburgring,

the temperature is less than 10°C. Teams are not driving. There is intermittent dribble but the track is dry with damp patches. Fisichelle and Buemi tried a run but had no grip on cold tyres. The lap times are like 1:40 which is way off.

Bourdais is now going out with intermediate tyres.

If Webbo keeps this up for the rest of the weekend he will get his 1st win and spoil BoyWonder's home GP weekend! =D>

BIG new diffuser for McLaren, with an arched roof to the upper deck
and
Vented front wing endplate, similar to Toyotas (hence the flow viz tests)

Vettel had an electric fault which prevented him from running most of the time.

True (only 6 laps less running) but he did run again at the end, still Webbo now has more track time and was clearly doing a great job.

The initial 12 laps were under significantly worse track conditions and the last timed lap after the repair he did not manage to get the temp into the tyres. Ambiant was only 9-11 °C during the session and it took most drivers 5-6 laps to get tyre temps. Rubens tried 16 flying laps and only in his 17th he went from 20th to 12 position.

I would not bet on Webbo to keep an advantage over Vettel.

Fisico looses the car over a curb while the first drops of a squall go down. He crashes into the safety barrier. Session is yellow flagged. It is supporsed to rain heavily in the next 10 minutes.
