About Lewis' comment, he's right. Not sure why the comment is really necessary I think no one will argue too hard, he had some tough teammates. Toto's comment, to say that its just a stat that nobody cares about.. I think everybody in Brackley working hard to do the best possible job would strongly disagree; the only thing that in all their dominance they were unable to match. Having your boss say he doesn't respect that, in my opinion terrible leadership. 10 in a row for Max, 15 in a row for Red Bull (both records) is a 100% team achievement. Respect.
I'd be surprised if people in the factory are that worried about Toto saying the record isn't important - they want to win races, yes, but its the title that is important as that's where the bonuses come from. People appreciate extra money in their bank accounts over a nominal record here and there.
If you are more fortunate than others, build a larger table not a taller fence.
