KimiRai must think Alonso is terrible at those circuits...

To give Lance some hope, he will have two chances to end ahead of Alonso (at least in qualifying) at Suzuka and Abu Dhabi, at least to end a poor season on a slightly better note.
why only the two chances?
I meant that those will be his two biggest chances, not his only ones but you replied too quickly! I think Fernando historically has fared a little worse in those tracks. Ocon outqualified him 3-0 (2021 Japan was cancelled) in those two. Jeddah is also notoriously poor since 2021 and Lance was about to do it but he made a mistake at turn 22. It would be the only real time he finishes ahead as I don't count Spain due to all the floor damage shenanigans and it being a weird session.

They've said they would continue with development at least. In 2022 if i'm not mistaken the last updates of the year were introduced in Singapore, we'll see if they do the same or bring more the next races

Krack said they have upgrades for every race to an including Vegas.
Yes you are right. Though I don't remember the "every race" part, did he say that?
Think he used a term something like "Pretty much every race, although some will be just track specific." Couldn't find the quote.

Focus is on more efficiency for next years car, not for this year anymore.

They still develop this year car, they mean that they want that the AMR24 is more efficient

And I wrote the opposite? Or what's the point of your posting?

Yeah, as McCullough says: more efficiency is the goal for next years car, this years car won't benefit from it anymore.

I don't think that will fly.. changing materials isn't enough as Tombazis has made it clear that it's the mechanism to allow flex in certain directions itself, unmeasurable by static load tests, that is outlawed.

The flexing mechanisms used this year already were hidden by the teams using rubber seals.. but the FIA are wise to it now. Not sure how changing materials can get them around this

surely they would have been aware of the rule change beforehand since they got told months ago to change the wing?
agreed, why else would they be creating a new wing?

we should keep expectations in check just in case, not least we get disappointed by a good result.

U know that you can still replace the banned parts with other materials in a new wing?

Having said that, Fernando's certainly excited about Singapore it seems.

AM should field full-on fluorescent green livery at least one race during this season; so many teams displaying fun livery across the field.

That would be epic! Couldn't mistake them with a Mercedes at that point@
