Do yo have some proof that their woes are down to this? Show me the proof!

Do you know they drove in Quali with the old spec floor?!

Teams did not have to publish changes as a result of the TD like they usually do at each race.

Yes, changes in general were published but changes related to the TDs specifically did NOT need to be published. It is further upthread.

Overconfidence is such a powerful drug. But you're right there is actually more than a hint of a race for the win but RBR aren't going to be part of it.

+1 thanks. We'll need shots of the car on a lift to help confirm things on our end. Now, they did report floor edge changes. Which could be downstream of floor changes they didn't have to report. Although I am still doubtful--teams were allowed to show up at this race (and this one only?) with potentially new floor geometry because of this TD? I wonder how the lines in the sands were drawn in all this regarding FIA protocol. "Central floor changes don't need to be reported but floor edge changes do, as usual." ?

Unless the RB issues (tyre related, much as weirded-out Mercedes in 2015) are not present with race levels of fuel, they will be lucky to get top six finishes.

The Tsunoda one was slam dunk. No way any other driver would not get a grid drop. I do not even understand why. 3 places are not going to prevent him from climbing back up if he has the pace. Not giving the penalty though, does way more damage to the sport.

FIA always manages to surprise me - that is in a negative way.

If MV was top 3 or anyways close to pole, they would never demote him in fear of meddling with results (stupid, but anyway). But I thought being 11th wouldn't change much and they would assert their rules by penalising him. Boy, was I wrong.
