I never placed any blame on Max. I placed blame on fans that have more information after quali, going around saying Sainz was on an inlap and needed to be penalized.
I said "If" he was on an in-lap.
I actually wasn’t referring to you :).

It’s just that in discord i was told Sainz was on inlap so I blamed Sainz in the chat, and later I checked the onboard and turned out it wasn’t an inlap and it wasn’t penalty worthy.
This is not discord but the forum. Multiple people here, like myself had spotted that Sainz had aborted the previous hotlap and was on a prep lap, we do pay more attention then we get given credit for. Also, the stewards dealt Sainz a warning, which is a light form of a penalty so that you call it not worthy of a penalty is your own interpretation but not a fact. And it certainly wasn’t max’ fault like you were posting.

Did stroll shove someone in the background there?
Yes. He shoved his personal trainer. Here's the video

https://streamable.com/yfbxac
Doing a ‘Clarkson’…

…and then the interview.

If he didn’t have such a nepotistic position in the team he would have be history by now.
He just looks and act like an entitled brat.
.
This week there was a big article about Stroll on F1 Insider.
A few remarkable statements about Lance that will surprise no one:

Villeneuve to F1 Insider: “Lawrence built his son his own karting track, which was only a 15-minute walk from the house. Nevertheless, Lance traveled the distance by helicopter every day.”

Another insider, who previously held a position of responsibility on a team, similarly recalls: “Father and son once came to our factory to look at it: I have never seen such an interested father and such a disinterested son.”
.
https://f1-insider.com/formel-1-aston-m ... 023-59721/

First he threw his stearingwheel out of the car and than he pushed his personal trainer to the wall who said that he had to be weighed first, which he did not want.

So what if Max doesnt finish the race because of a unfortunate T1 incident? Can he still get the sprint if they BOTH finish outside the points?
Mess with the Bull - you get the horns.

Yes. Perez needs to finish 3rd or better to remain in the wdc fight I believe. So a Max DNF and Perez 4th would still result in Max being crowned on Saturday

Aston's possible tyre deg issues are suddenly fixed with mandated three stops, amazing. Must be the oil dollars :D

Surely this literally forces the hand for EVERYONE to do a run on the mediums today in the sprint then. No idea what they plan to do with the qualifying, unless they are all going to use Used soft tyres.

I mean even for the race, if you exclude a medium for everyone - which is likely starting tyre. it leaves the front of the grid with 1 hard and 2 mediums, which you need a tyre compound swap for the race. if it turns out you need a additional stop, say for a safety car, nobody is going to have a new tyre to use, unless it gets called late on within 1 or 2 laps of the window. 57 laps gives you 3 laps 'grace' for pitting early.

Literally throws strategy out the window mandating a 20lap maximum for the tyres and 3 stops.... unless of course you alternate your tyre running to the others, but there is no benefit!

This is a disaster. Weekend is completely "falsified" by these decisions.

Massive failure from everyone involved in the process of picking Qatar as a track (10 years contract LMAO), in providing the tyres (Pirelli is the worst tyre supplier in F1 modern era by far) and behind the decision of the sprint weekend.

Embarrassing.

notice that it says "In the event the problem is still evident [in the sprint]", so there's no decision made for the race yet. The problems could very well be less significant in the evening, or with less usage of kerbs.

Will teams get an extra set for this short practice, though? I guess most won't be willing to waste potential race tyres.
