In the fastest laps for Max, Lando and Oscar, the difference was only in top speed, over the rest of the lap it was comparable.

What's interesting is I don't think these are actual fast lap attempts. These are just "racing laps". I say that because when you overlay Leclerc's personal best on the last lap in a far inferior car, you see how much Mclaren and RB left on the table in the high speed corners on their "fastest laps". Ferrari is not faster here than RB and Mclaren, and Mclaren/RB had fresher tires, so it's immediately suspicious.

Looking back at first lap - Verstappen was extremely close to being hit by Russel.

Quite strange but those times are almost qualy times. I doubt they were not pushing.

Do you have Leclerc vs Norris vs Verstappen overlay from qualifying?

Yes, below is the Friday qualifying. RB and Mclaren can match Ferrari or better in the high speed in qualifying:

So for them to be so far behind in the race laps suggest to me that they are not "serious" laps from the Mclaren and the RB.

Max final lap today was 1.3s faster than his fastest lap yesterday. He was pushing for the bonus point.

I just reviewed Leclerc's final lap on F1 TV. There's no one in front of him. Just Russell well off in the distance (4.5 seconds). Far too much for it to be a tow of such strength. It's also mainly in the high speed corners where you would be hurt by any tow anyway. Leclerc really went flat out since he was gaining on Russell by almost 2 seconds a lap. Did not catch Russell in the end however.

In other news, McLaren with 4 of the 5 fastest pit stops of the race, including an all time world record 1.80s stop. Team is firing on all cylinders now.

Also, the track evolution is massive here since Friday and drivers only had 3-6 lap old mediums with very low fuel at the end.

Fair play, looks like it's not a relevant comparison.

Another mega result for the team. pushing Max all the way to the flag! What a top notch driver pairing the team has now! Piastri particularly has had an amazing weekend and Norris pace was superb once he got going. Could we even possibly catch Ferrari before the year is done??

I take it all those fast laps were without drs? I'm impressed with Max's top speed.
Ver had drs off of tsunoda
Oh, okay. Thank you, Juzh! It's good to see you here. Post videos on youtube more often. :)

Norris continued, also displeased at his inconsistency. "If I want to be honest with myself, I should have fought for two pole positions this weekend and potentially two victories. I know it's a big thing to say, but I think things would have gone well if I just did a better job and didn't make the mistakes I did over the last two days, which is why I've been so frustrated because I knew what was on the cards, what we were able to potentially achieve, and that was victories both yesterday and today.
