He is a RedBull driver as they all are so it's certainly possible for him to drive an FP1 for RB in short notice and switch back to AT for FP2.... There was a driver that recently did this too! i can't remember if it was Devires with Aston Martin and Williams?
It is absolutely possible and legal... I think they just have little reason to do it.
