Merc will have to run higher after the DSQ?

Mexico is a smooth track. They don't have to run higher. In fact, Merc might run even lower than COTA in Mexico. When we said Merc was running low, we just meant "lower than others", but COTA still requires higher ride heights due to the amount of bumps.

Relative to the teams that ran legal set-ups their car should be higher, though in absolute terms everyone could be lower.

So relative to just Max and Norris then, as every body else wasnt inspected for excessive wear as the FIA have said.

Merc will be cautious thats for certain. They wont want to get caught out for a second week. (same for Ferrari)

Again, be interesting to see where the upgrades put them and whether the likes of RB dont need to run a monster truck stance to cover the bumps in the track.

So W14, rb19 etc will all run on the ground here. The track is smooth and porpoising doesn't trigger because little downforce is generated

Wouldn't be surprised if Mercedes gives RB a little scare here.

It's a normal race weekend, they'll have time to make changes to the ride height if necessary ahead of parc ferme conditions coming into effect.

Everyone was able to be one-stopping on soft-mediums last year so I think the additional degradation probably won't push it to a 2-stopper, but should make degradation more of a factor.

Between Max, Lando, Lewis and Charles we have the top 4 cars covered. Only two of them were sprung for illegal activities

It's just going to dissipate when it hits land and starts climbing the mountains. Mexico city should be unaffected, but the coastal cities will be hammered.

depending on the damage this comes with, it can still have an influence, of course. If it's catastrophic, I'm pretty sure they'd call off the race, no matter if Mexico City itself is affected or not.

I bet, Merc will be a monstrously fast car this year again. Their poor drag will be completely mitigated by air density and they have a lot of slow-medium speed downforce. They will be fighting for 1st row or pole. What do you think?

The air will be thinner for all the cars .... just saying, but i also wish for Merc or anyone else at least to catch this RB monster.
