Could they change the rear wing and get him out?

So now we have Norris starting next to Verstappen. Reversed sprint roles.

EDIT:
PIT → PIA
18:07
That is a red flag. We are going to try to see if we can repair the car.

Amazing start from Lando!
Dream start. Now he can fight Max.

Oscar out with broken rear wing, such bad luck!
I didn't realise until just now he';d got hit, I'm trying to make bread and watch at the same time! lol

Yeah, depends on if the structure is damaged at the back.

Also the sprint weekends hinder a rookies learning considerably these last 2 seasons so will effect their overall points total. Oscars rookie season has been at a disadvantage compared to Landos rookie season… like ever we can’t directly compare
You are right, making comparisons between drivers using “points” from different seasons to argue performance it’s flawed… Unluckily looking at just points takes all context out of the analysis, more importantly the car performance in those season versus the rest of the grid… Today, getting a good result and good amount of points with the current MCL60 is easier than last season, similar could be argued of the MCL34 which was only an upper midfield car… And that could be applicable to any pairing of drivers.

Oscar is doing a great job for a rookie and it’s showing glimpses of excellence at the same time… He has had great weekends and not so great ones, more experience will simply help reduce the gap between the good days and the bad ones.
Yes it is flawed, but that doesn't mean you can ignore it either, you simply can't make a definitive statement. None the less, you can certainly see that there is a lot of reason to look at this year in a positive light.
There are a lot of reasons to look at Oscar’s first season with a positive light… The fact that he may have a similar point ratio to Lando compared to the latter and Carlos is what is flawed… That doesn’t say anything in regards to how good or bad his performance is… We can talk about his performance in Qualy, his performance in Sprints, the speed showed and all of those paint him in a very positive light.

He was touched by the Haas and he had his rear wing damaged. Hopefully they can repair it before the race restarts.

Touched is a huge understatement. He was heavily hit onto the rear wing, I'm really surprised F1TV team did not notice that.

Few corners later he had a huge moment, he almost spun, probably because his rear wing was not working.

It would be great to have Piastri in the race to fight through the field.

Question, when there is a Red Flag, they go to the positions in the lap before, does that mean that Lando will now start again P6?

Last race they did not revert the grid (when Lando lost 2 positions during pit and there was a red flag later), so I am not sure either.

I don't think they go to positions lap before every time. Only when there is massive chaos and immediate red flag. For example last? race when there was a safety car (Norris pits) and then there is a red flag they did not go back a lap.

Good news for Piastri -
There's extensive barrier damage – this could be quite a long hold. That's not news that will upset Oscar's crew.

The rule is:" when Mclaren wins places in the grid then we revert to the positions before the red flag. When Mclaren loses places then, we restart with the new positions." :D :D
