I would say so, Webber has finished every race this year with only 2 non-points finishes to Vettel's 4 (inc 2 retirements) and one of Webbo's non-points results was due to him being baulked in Q1 by a blind FI driver!ringo wrote: Its seem Webber is the better driver statistically now. Wonder what the team are thinking, favour webber for champ since he has better starts and race consistency?
IF (and it's a big one) the stewards are going to be consistent Kimi should get a "drive thru" equiv penalty (25secs from memory) when the stewards review his coming together with Vettel as Vettel's car actually sustained damage and retired as a result of the contact. (unlike Webber's contact with Barichello in Germany which had no impact on the race at all).ringo wrote:Oh yeah can't leave out Heiki, he was struggling with overheating of the brakes and had to compromise his brake balance, good result also!!
That race was phenomenal, the look on Whitmarsh's face was the same as on Webber's last race, a weight was lifted.
And for all the Kimi fans, he takes the cake for most aggressive, nothing hamilton did can compare to what this guy did in this race. He spoiled it for Vettel and RBR, and had it not been for Lewis keeping a cool head Kimi would have foiled his race also, Kimi should be penalized.
and i bet you are a mclaren fan?ringo wrote:All kimi had to do was brake and concede position, that's was the right thing to do, he made a gamble and lost.
The ferrari deserved to be squeezed, did you see how he charged over from left to right at the Mclaren?
That was completely unnecessary and should be considered in the penalty. If lewis did that he would have been penalized instantly. And you would not hear the end of it for the next 2 years.
Kimi did not have to be in that position had he not driven like a lunatic, it was obvious that he was trying to make Lewis crash on the straight. What he did to Vettel was a desperate maneuver to stay close to the Mclaren and cause more trouble.
Watch the first moments in the race and keep an eye on Kimi's movements.
I don't like that guy named Kimi, ferrari need to lose him. As bad as Alonso is, he is not a jerk on the track.
Kimi raced well, but he would not have been up so far if vettel had a fair chance.
