He would drop very far - Probably P16 or so. I think they are waiting for a VSC or SC.

He is still faster than guys behind (most of them).

It seems that way, he would be 15th if he pits… But he may have been able to get back into the points with a PitStop a few laps earlier… His fate is sealed I’m afraid at this point… what’s the penalty for not changing tires?

I would expect DSQ to be honest, otherwise that would be a can of worms and I'd have expected others to have taken advantage in the past

Not changing tires is definitely a DSQ.

If we got a safety car now - Piastri would be rapid. He is 3 seconds faster than Gasly.
