Quite a recent uptick, actually.

Definitely plausible.
If there is any truth to it, it might just be a bargaining chip to get RedBull to support letting Andretti into formula 1.taperoo2k wrote: ↑02 Nov 2023, 16:53He's said it's not related to driver swaps or withdrawals. I don't think it'll be about the

I've no idea why he would be tight lipped about such a rumour. It's not a sensitive topic to state a team is doing well in the wind tunnel, in fact that rumour was already started by Eddie Jordan. He also said no driver swaps or withdrawals, so it's probably a retirement rumour.
Well Brazil is safe until 2030, looks like they've signed a new 5 year deal to keep the grand prix

It seemed authorized by the driver, especially because there was talk of a condition that Hamilton set: he only wanted to drive for Red Bull if he got the same material as Max Verstappen. For me at least there was no doubt that the request from the Hamilton side was serious.”
I have no doubt that the entire grid would have been trying to get that second seat at Red Bull. Every driver is obsessed with winning races and championships and Lewis is no different. There is nothing wrong in him trying a hand for that seat. Horner and Marko have been open about them pursuing Norris and if they say there was a contact from Lewis' side and not the other way round, then I don't see how they wouldn't be telling the truth. It's understandable why Lewis would deny it.organic wrote: ↑24 Nov 2023, 18:47https://f1-insider.com/formel-1-red-bul ... 023-60980/Marko: “I can only say that Christian Horner told me in January about a text message he received from people around Hamilton. Or is it to encourage RB to sell the 2nd team franchise to Andretti?djos wrote: ↑02 Nov 2023, 22:53If there is any truth to it, it might just be a bargaining chip to get RedBull to support letting Andretti into formula 1.taperoo2k wrote: ↑02 Nov 2023, 16:53He's said it's not related to driver swaps or withdrawals.
