Since the death of Dietrich Mateschitz, a huge power struggle has been going on between RB GmbH and RBR/Horner.
The two teams were the passion of Mateschitz, Horner and Marko were in charge.
Now Mintzlaff is in charge and he gives nothing about the F1 and the two teams who were M's passion, only about money .
He wants to be in charge of RBR (TP), doesn't want Ford involved and wants Horner out. He is the only one who wants Horner out.
Not Marko, not Max, not Jos, etc. That's why he told Van Haren and F1Insider that there was an investigation going on.
Something that should have stayed inside!! Because of that Horner is already getting a bad name and that is exactly what he wants. Horner out!

It is not normal for the top boss (Mintzlaff) of a major company to release a secret internal investigation before the final results are known! He knew what the consequences would be for Horner before the investigation.
I think another possibility is that van Haren found out about the investigation through some other independent means. And so he went to Mintzlaff to ask about the matter to confirm If the story is true. Journalists do this all the time.

If Mintzlaff is approached like this and there is an investigation into Horner.. not revealing anything can look like RB are trying to sweep something under the rug or at the very least not being transparent. Given van Haren is likely to then discover subsequently any information because of the high profile nature of it all and how long the investigation has been going on internally there is little reason not to get ahead of the issue and be the ones to create the initial narrative and story.

Mintzlaff's short term goal is not to protect red bull racing's F1 season or stability but to protect the RB brand. A subsidiary's CEO having a scandal and RB GmbH being seen to be covering up/sweeping under rug could be very damaging to brand as a whole and to those in power at RB. So I can see this as a possibility

If even bernie can't defend you, your carrer is finished

Ex-Formula 1 boss Bernie Ecclestone, has also intervened and advised Horner to resign from team boss in order to avoid further damage to himself and his family

The lawyer, F1-Insider.com learned, has now gone on vacation. It is unclear which findings he previously passed on to Red Bull GmbH.

What the allegations are specifically about is still not publicly known. The only thing that is certain is that the middle management employee, whose name is available to F1 Insider but which we are not publishing for privacy reasons, felt under pressure - although the manner in which the alleged coercion was carried out is not compatible with modern moral standards. Meanwhile, the presumption of innocence continues to apply to Christian Horner.

He relies on the support of Red Bull's Thai shareholders. They own 51 percent of the company. They want to keep Horner. Alone: The Yoovidhya family has sold part of its shares to other investors, which means: Mark Mateschitz, son of Red Bull founder Dietrich Mateschitz, is the largest individual shareholder in the Red Bull empire with 49 percent.
.
I assume when the lawyer is on vacation, there will be no meetings in the near future or the case is even closed now.

Might aswell stay. If he walks people will know, if he is ‘sacked’ after an investigation it’s still the same outcome.

Stand your ground and let others prove your guilt.

Is F1-Insider usually reliable? This is beginning to sound like something from a fiction novel.

Horner better be able to prove he is squeaky clean! If Mark wants Horner gone, he needs very little justification to boot him as he is the majority shareholder and thus in-charge!

I only know that the writer Ralf Bach often speaks with Helmut Marko. They both from Austria.
I assume that this info is from Marko. Who else would know these info? (The lawyer is on vacation)

He owns 49%, so not a majority shareholder. But he is I believe the largest single shareholder.

Safe to say the lawyer would not go on vacation before concluding his investigation and presenting his findings to RB. They don't want to have this hanging around for any longer than necessary. I would expect an announcement any day.

If there is that much antagonism, remove Horner, give him Torro Rosso, let him name it Horner Racing or some such and let everyone who wants to join him.
Settled.

Why would BE intervene and be advising CH to go? That implies BE knows everything about the case and is in a position to have judged CH guilty. Who in RB GmbH has briefed BE in such fine detail that he can come to any conclusion whatsoever? Why would RB be briefing BE when BE has nothing to do with RB GmbH, F1 or CH? Why?

Does it not cross anyone's mind how absurd the statement is? Defending oneself against an allegation is NOT further damaging yourself or your family, it is quite the reverse. This is a workplace dispute, there are two sides of the story which no one knows outside a small number of people inside the inner sanctum of RB GmbH.

I expect BE was door stopped by a hack and got a quote similar to if not identical to, 'If Horner is guilty he should go...' which then gets 'translated into the Newspeak 'BE urges CH to go for the sake of himself and family.' Then it's copied round the world at the speed of light and appears in shite publication after shiter publication for those who have taken leave of their senses and ability to reason to consume and pass on.

Just think about what you are reading and just how implausible it is before doing the legwork for these miserable clickbait artists.

In 1859, we find the proverb well and truly in print in recognisable form. The preacher C. H. Spurgeon quoted it in one of his sermons:

If you want truth to go round the world you must hire an express train to pull it; but if you want a lie to go round the world, it will fly; it is as light as a feather, and a breath will carry it. It is well said in the old Proverb, ‘A lie will go round the world while truth is pulling its boots on.’
