Why isnt he just driving an F2008?
the FIA only allows testing 2 yrs old car, thats the reason.

Some video of Shumi in the F2007: http://video.gazzetta.it/?vxSiteId=f89d ... itrate=300

I expect that Michael will test the F60, for a single day up to 200km with the Demo Tyres on though. But i expect to see the other teams in allowance to this to be able to test a new driver for the same aggreement to the same milage at a track of their choosing.

So in other words, Renault to test Grosjean, Brawn to test Davidson, Williams with Hulkenberg etc... at say Jerez or Barcelona, or a track closer to where they are.

I hope it doesnt happen. If Alguersuari can go in to F1 car without prior experiance and do well in his first GP without a test day, whay should Schumacher, a multiple champ and one of the most experianced drivers ever get a test day?

I think more of an issue was the JA should've been testing in the car before he got in.....it was not the smartest thing I think for FIA to not let him run some pre-requisite miles first. Afterall, remember Kimi back in 02 or 03 when he joined most thing he hasn't got enough miles in F1 to get his Super license, JA had none...

Just watching the vid of Schumi in the F2007 made me smile shows he still knows what to do and if he is allowed to test the F60 then in Valencia people could just be surprised with him being competetive.

Stefano said a week or two ago that they would stop developing the F60. Whether or not they change their minds, only they can say for sure.

Does anyone know if Schumacher's session was timed today?
Best regards. I guess this explains why I'm not at my post!

The aero rules of 2009 stay for 2010. So everything you learn now will be applicable except weight distribution issues.

I'm pretty sure that his session was timed, without timing you wouldn't have anything to go by. All the engineers and Schumacher could say to Stefano Domenicali would be, "Yeah he seemed pretty fast I guess."

And I'm also sure that he wasn't all by himself out there.

Watching the mugello video gave me the chiils.
