how convenient for you to twist what really happened
:^o
They asked their rival teams which have FOTA and non FOTA teams + FIA
FOTA teams agreed dont know about the other 2 parties.
Ferrari has asked rival teams for permission to have Michael Schumacher test this year's car during the testing ban ahead of the European Grand Prix.
But Ferrari has written to the FIA and to its rival teams asking to allow Schumacher to test for a day with this year's F60 car in order to arrive better prepared for the Valencia race.

The outside the "spirit of the rules" testing of the F2007 on GP2 slicks wasnt enough?
outside the spirit of rule??
you know what is the rule first of all??
no testing with current and previous yrs cars ....thats the only rule
you can buy f1 cars 2 yrs old and run anywhere.....even you and me can do that if u have the money
and GP2 tyres would make the test simply useless for any data collection
thats why they purposly used that tyres.
this was just a test to get the cars feel and g forces
Now he gets to go do a whole day's test in the F60? Totally ridiculous the way any & every rule is bent for Ferrari.
Its totally upto FIA and all teams to agree
the testing ban is a agreement between team and FIA
What is the problem in asking??
if all the parties agree whats ur problem??
who are you to disagree?
do u have stakes in F1?? or any Vote in to veto this test?
and moreover this test (if it goes through) will be watched by FIA officals ...to make sure they dont use any new parts
