Maybe not super fast, but stable. This is good, makes a good impression.
Interesting, I just started following this site which suggests 14 laps in that run and a different final full lap time.
The 14 laps on that website is saying the tyre's total age. I have software that tracks both. He did out/fast/in on two sets and then did a long run on each tyremwillems wrote: ↑22 Feb 2024, 11:49Interesting, I just started following this site which suggests 14 laps in that run and a different final full lap time.organic wrote: ↑22 Feb 2024, 11:28Was 9 laps according to my timing data and f1debrief

Perhaps it isn't that reliable, or I just am reading the numbers wrong.
It was set before the red flag and before he came into the pits, so I'm not sure. I'd disregard this site for now until I know it's idiosyncrasies.organic wrote: ↑22 Feb 2024, 11:52The 14 laps on that website is saying the tyre's total age. I have software that tracks both. 1.40 lap might've been ignored by live timing due to red flag.. not sure otherwise
Please explain how baseless dumps of laptimes and lap comparisons means anything?
It applies to all threads and discussions across forum, reddit and discord. The statement is still true; its nonsense data that does nothing but contribute to hysteria and misleading people into bloodthirsty arguments around performance.
This is not "all threads and discussions across forum, reddit and discord" though. No upvote farming here.
No one is trying to suggest that the car is faster or slower. They are having fun looking at the data together during testing to see what they can ascertain about the car and to learn together how to understand some of the telemetry for some of the newer folks.mzivtins wrote: ↑22 Feb 2024, 12:50Please explain how baseless dumps of laptimes and lap comparisons means anything?
Calling someone a troll for pointing out that; Without datums to base the analysis on, it is nothing but garbage.
Please help me understand how, in anyway, it is considered technical, information or helps towards the conversation?
It is nothing more than misleading.
Or you can continue to just call someone a troll because you disagree with them, it says a lot about you if you support this kind of thing, i suggest you visit r/formula1
The past 4 seasons we've had quite clear pictures of the competitive order in large part due to lap time analysis in testing. No need to troll.mzivtins wrote: ↑22 Feb 2024, 12:50Please explain how baseless dumps of laptimes and lap comparisons means anything?
