With the low number of laps they did so far, maybe they will not do a full race sim so I wouldn't be surprised if that 18 lap Piastri C1 stint was first part of their race sim.
I'll settle for 2nd in the WCC, & this is going to sound harsh, but it is the reality. This needs to be a lesson.CjC wrote: ↑23 Feb 2024, 15:06Basically the same interview as last night but talk a bit more about the car.

Seems they are happy with the car and the development that’s to come but ours just that Red Bull which is the disappointment….
Then shouldn't you be applauding thr team for doing just that? They realised an issue, and have put in place ways to rectify. A new structure, new recruitment.the EDGE wrote: ↑23 Feb 2024, 15:58I'll settle for 2nd in the WCC, & this is going to sound harsh, but it is the reality. It's simply unacceptable to be out-developed like this. If 'any' team wants to challenge RB they need to understand what RB has done, take a hard look at their own operation, and ensure going forwards they are thinking outside the box in a similar way. You simply cannot afford to be behind the development curve of any aspect in F1 and expect to win
I'm not an engineer or an aerodynamicist, and I don't claim to be able to do a better job, but they are and they do. Now it's time to frankly give up, or double down and do the business. The bar has been set. They must meet it.
Lets hope with their new signings, they are on the way to doing this
I don't understand this. We all knew RB had more time to look at their car, the team spoke about the fact that they had more time and would use it well. They've done better than anyone thought.the EDGE wrote: ↑23 Feb 2024, 15:58I'll settle for 2nd in the WCC, & this is going to sound harsh, but it is the reality. I sound negative or Stella sounds negative? He is the one saying “There's one car that seemed to have found a big step. Unfortunately, the car that was already the quickest last year", not me
