I am sure the call was done already, when Briatore was seeing with Toto. But probably he will not do a final decision until Monaco at least. If the Mercedes is on par or behind whats the point to go to Mercedes, only if the money is much more of what he has now.

Well, they don't ride continuous. Take some 10-15 min break inside garage in between the stint. How could we know whether they are refueling or not?

Sounds reasonable to me. At Bahrain last year Aston Martin were about 3-4 tenths off RB at Bahrain last year. It sounds like maybe no teams are in that range this year therefore they are further from the lead. That's how he meant it IMO. He and Fallows have already said the car itself is a step over last year just that everyone has made a step

Yeah! The statement is bit ambiguous and can easily be misinterpreted. Anyway, it is not Bahrain but the development over the season is what is important at this point.
