I dont get the negativety here from some users. It’s a non works outfit(not as established as mcl). Yes last year couldve been a fluke but theyve understod and sustained the performace this year. Almost upto p3, and much lower delta to pole as last year. Mega job i would say. I just hope the overnight setup changes also help deg. That S2 was mega, the turn in into t11

That was a great lap. 3,5 tenths of Max, last year it was 6 tenths. Excited for tomorrow.

Factor in the minimal track evoulution, the tow Max and others had. There were minor mistakes in Alos lap. The position and delta to pole are potentially even better.

No because he used two sets in Q2. I think of the top 10 only RB have a set of new softs, but they only have a set of hards, the rest have two.

He had that famous 'Smirk' during the post-Quali interview. It seems, the team & Alonso were not expecting such a competitive performance by car.
Team is still learning the car & more performance will be extracted in every session.

AMR23 struggled with ‘fast corners’ and ‘Cold temperature’ last year.

3rd fastest in 'Sector 3’; just behind Leclerc & Nando. Plus, relatively colder track conditions.
