Fair enough, it's just that no one other than Charles dared run C4 and while he was on C4s he was faster than Carlos(on C3) and the Mercs.CouncilorIrissa wrote: ↑07 Mar 2024, 20:10It does not look like the SF23 performance profile has anything in common with the SF24.Sevach wrote: ↑07 Mar 2024, 20:09Last year Ferrari looked decent on softs around here.CouncilorIrissa wrote: ↑07 Mar 2024, 19:57RB on meds, Ferrari on softs. Will be hard to draw conclusions from FP2.
Then they switched to hards and looked awful.
I think most teams will be planning C3>C2 can Ferrari do something different?
that 33.8 was with engine mode and torque set to 1, he was losing a lot in s2 compared to max. after that lap xavi said to turn back the engine mode and torque mode.. Also nice handwriting ..Xyz22 wrote: ↑07 Mar 2024, 20:21https://pbs.twimg.com/media/GIFkR5fWUAE ... name=large
Considering the usual Ferrari approach to FP2s in general, it looks quite good.
Feels a little unfair that we don't credit the twitter user with the said nice handwriting! it's @_allthatglitz on twitter.Fakepivot wrote: ↑07 Mar 2024, 20:27that 33.8 was with engine mode and torque set to 1, he was losing a lot in s2 compared to max. after that lap xavi said to turn back the engine mode and torque mode.. I think that Ferrari now produces similar downforce to the RB20. They are just draggier and still lack a little - Charles said the issues were clear and he seems quite confident they can bring the fight to Red Bull by the end of the season, should hopefully bode well for next year.CouncilorIrissa wrote: ↑07 Mar 2024, 21:02https://pbs.twimg.com/media/GIFtjH_WsAA ... name=large
It is very interesting how the RB20 and the SF24 generate lap time in a very similar manner.
