Any idea how the tyre pressure change will affect Ferrari? I read people saying it might benefit McLaren and hurt Aston.

Holy ---. I hope Carlos gets better soon. This stuff is dangerous.
Not particularly dangerous with proper medical treatment, but very painful.
Must have been really hard to drive the car with such condition.
Well his condition has probably worsened after yesterday. Appendicitis can often start with mild symptoms like a normal stomach bug. Diffuse stomach pain, fever, vomiting etc. But if the inflammation increases and you get peritonitis the pain can become very sharp and localised, especially during movement (5G braking would probably feel like getting stabbed in the gut).

How long was Albon out for when he had his appendix out? Mind you, he had complications afterwards didn't he?

Hope Carlos makes a speedy recovery - we need the Smooooth Operatoooor back to full force!!
If I come across as blunt, I apologise, it's my ASD. Sometimes, like an F1 car aqua-planing, it gets out of my control.

It's a good opportunity for Ferrari to measure Ollie with a couple of races. They shouldn't rush Sainz back and should give him a month's rest. The season is long and they don't want a partially fit driver driving for them. Neither is it good for Sainz's long term health either.

Forget that, afaik only two 18 year old or younger drivers have debuted in F1, Bearman is the third. AND its with Ferrari!

From my own experience, if it didn't burst he should be fit enough to race in a week or twos time, next race in Australia is 20 days away. He should be well enough to race if there are no complications.

Damn appendicitis is really bad diagnose when you are driver. Hopefully surgery is quick and goes well and Carlos can be back in cockpit soon.

That's over 50 years ago though, so it's right.

Really didn't see this coming at all. From a WCC perspective it would make more sense to put Hulkenburg in the seat. I am sure Haas would release him in exchange for Bearman and a little bag of cash.

It's quite a story, the kid must be something special for sure.
