At what point Liam Lawson would replace Daniel? It's just a waste of time having him in that seat. It would be good to have Liam and measure him further.
It’s 2 races in and both drivers are complaining the car isn’t quite right, throwing Liam into the car now would help no one!

And please stop the pointless, baseless negativity towards Daniel, according to the team, he’s the one leading the development of the car, not Yuki!
Is there another team that listens to the slower driver to develop the car? It's just fantasy to say Daniel is developing the car. He is a lost cause and in his current mindset, he can't develop himself, forget developing the car. If we assume he is indeed the development driver, he developing it awful for himself.
This is just completely disrespectful to Ricciardos vast experience and acknowledgements from multiple credible F1 people such as Tost, Bayer, Eggington, Horner, Mekies, Permane etc who all hold him in high regard esp for development input as well. You don't get that for nothing. Your comments are completely delusional if you think from your armchair you know more then these guys. Also calling Dan a lost cause after 2 race weekends out of 24 where one was separated by barely a tenth is just daft. Imagine the amount of championships, wdcs etc lost to teams and drivers over the years if that was the completely stupid method of determining who was a victor at such an early stage of a season where anything can happen.

Replace Ric after only 2 races when Yuki and Ric are both on 0 points :o :o :o ? The main priority is fixing the snail of a car and both drivers getting the most out of it, but you see the solution as swapping for Lawson after 2 races?

Hmm so does that mean Lawson would be getting podiums he is that good? Wow i never knew Lawson was better than Ayrton Senna. That's a 150 million dollar driver right there  :D .

Better call Toto wolf and advise him to snap Lawson up with a big offer and replace Hamilton ASAP. Because Hamilton has been smashed in both Qualy sessions and both races.

Russell is 4th in championship with Hamilton all the way down in 9th :( What a demolish job. An 18 year old teen Bearman with minimal prep smashed Hamilton as well in Saudi. Get Toto to ring Bearman and make him an offer also of 150 million and drop Hamilton ASAP. Russell 18 points vs Ham 8 points, Ric 0 points vs Yuki 0 points. Merc is in dire need of a better driver in that second seat as Ham definately left a lot of points on the table both races which is costing them in the constructors as they are in 4th behind Mclaren now when they should be in 3rd :(.

You should seriously become Toto Wolfs full time advisor (like Markos role at Redbull) as clearly you have a serious skill in rating drivers after even just 2 races which not even Marko could do! =D>
Ayrton Senna: Pure driving, pure racing, that´s what makes me happy.

The proof of Ricciardo's technical and driving skills will be on the stop watch of whether he can beat Tsunoda or not and by how much. :)

A tenth to Tsunoda, not a tenth to Verstappen!

It's all about whether Daniel is going to be the old Daniel or not when (or if) he drives for Red Bull Racing. If Daniel hadn't abandoned Red Bull Racing in the first place, I guess none of this mess would have happened as we would have seen the relative comparison every year (and potentially Ricciardo as multiple world driver's champion)!

You can certainly expect that Ricciardo, who is starting his 14th!! season, will beat little Yuki, who is starting his 4th season,

in all areas with all his experience with various teams?! But he doesn't. Yuki is even better.

I had higher expectations for Ricciardo this season and so far it looks like he is in a no mans land.

On the other side there is Tsunoda which is faster in qualifying, but his racecraft is very poor.
short memory there yuki used to qualify outside the top 10 but made his way to top 11 or points .he lost his mirror and had reccurring brake issue something thats always a problem with these team.he needed those tools to defend position.he did well defending against lewis and norris in dutch race last year in texas he was doing well to defend position too.you behave like football fans one bad race and you want the coach gone.

Too early in the season to make any calls like this

RB would be disappointed though

A 40 s pitstop would kill almost any driver outside maybe say a Max in the RB20 but clearly now what we are expecting here but think the weekend showed the team has a lot of work to do.

Prove it, post a link to a statement from a team proving this!
You think a team would publicly say this? :D
And I call BS on your claim, no evidence = did not happen!
Yeah. Well I'm not gonna sift through races to point out when the second driver was sacrificed, and the team didn't win the championship (also counts if they eventually lost out on the drivers' as well).

Show me where the team make comments like this regarding Yuki?

https://www.si.com/fannation/racing/f1b ... ef-reveals
"Most importantly, he put some engineering direction into the team with the experience he had and I think that really benefited the AlphaTauri team.”
https://racingnews365.com/alphatauri-de ... o-to-shine
the Aussie worked behind the scenes to understand the car and help AlphaTauri do the same. As reported by lastwordonsports.com, “AlphaTauri is a team who were somewhat directionless in early 2023. This is not to dismiss the contributions of Tsunoda, which were often admirable in a largely uninspiring AT04 machine. But the impact of Daniel Ricciardo’s arrival cannot be overestimated.”
Yuki might be fast, but Daniel is the one driving the setup direction for the team.
Unfortunately mate most don;t want to accept the facts and prefer to run him down using very shallow if not ignorant methods alot of the time. As mentioned its lucky the team don;t listen to this nonsense and overreact. Dan has been praised by Tost, Bayer, Horner, Egginton and Mekies for everything he brings to the team including the development work and direction. They are unified and highly motivated to extract the best from both drivers who have mentioned they are not happy with the car.

Its clear when Dan is in the zone in a car he is comfortable with he has a very high performance ceiling as seen with RBR, Renault 2020 and as recent as Mexico last year. It would be extremely stupid of the team to turf him out at this point when they need all the help they can get developing the car and what they know he is capable of if they give him the right car which has some DNA of the RB19 with its same suspension for a start and as we know he smashed the Pirelli test in the RB19.

Not to mention that but its a complete overreaction to call Dan past it after 2 races out of 24 where the first race there was barely a tenth in it with qualli and such fine margins this season. The team and drivers know they need a car that both drivers are comfortable with as the priority and Dan is definitely a driver with alot of experience that can help with this. Its not like they have really missed scoring many points either yet with this car. Hopefully Australia is the turning point.
How would you judge Daniel’s performance last race? Outqualified and running at the back for most of it. Even behind Logan.

Sacrificing the second driver is not the same as choosing the WDC over the WCC.

Ok, then let me ask another question: who deserves a potential seat at Red Bull and why? Yuki or Daniel? Or Liam maybe?

Bit early to be making these sort of prognostications imo.

But if you want to play, I’ll oblige, it won’t be Yuki, he doesn’t have the maturity or temperament.

I can see Yuki potentially being at Red Bull in 2025 for a number of reasons.

1) So far is showing his natural speed
2) Liam is still a rookie, he'll get his shot.
3) Ricciardo really needs to turn things around. In DTS, after he got the call to replace Devries, he was specifically told not to crash it. Well, he did just that. Now, he has to beat Yuki.
4) Watching the onboards especially the qualifying, Yuki was closer to the limit and to the walls than Ricciardo was. RIght now, he's got the bigger balls.
5) Considering maturity and temperament, I look back to Max and Seb when they joined RB
6) Last year that Honda will provide RB PUs

Helmut Marko: "A word about the Racing Bulls. There's a lot at stake this season for both Yuki and Daniel. Yuki's qualifying performance was very good, and Ricciardo has to come up with something soon. Where there's work: At least Tsunoda is very good in qualifying, then they are at the top of the World Championship points in the first stint, only to fall further and further behind. They cannot maintain the speed in the long term. Whether they are putting too much strain on the tires or there are other reasons "That's what we need to find out."
