thoughts on this? I would say it should not be reinstated...
To me this seems maybe the only track limit violation which gave an advantage. All the other violations I have seen the drivers clearly lost time, and there was no reason to delete them.

Getting into facebook-like "who is talented, who is not" is a bit too under-par, for this forum.
Ha ha, you're obviously new here. It's very much par for the course in the forum.
Good, reasonable discussion about F1 is basically impossible to find anywhere online.

“Verstapen is the greatest in the rain”
Only when the car is 2 seconds faster than everyone else
Exactly. Remember Brazil 2016.
It was the car that Max could outperforme in the rain. At least 2 seconds a round faster.... =D>

Apparently this was the previous lap, his final lap was cancelled under the rule that if you cut the final corner both your current and next lap are voided(as a way of preventing drivers from gaining extra speed by cutting/extending).

They relaxed this rule under the conditions and apparently he was slower down the front straight.

This was the lap before his fastest lap.
I think they were wondering if he had a faster run accross the line to start his fastest lap because of going wide..

Thanks for sharing this info, makes sense and is the right call.
And they call it a stall. A STALL!

Completely agreed. Smaller group chats are the only way to go to get any kind of objective, healthy discussion. Everything online, no matter the source, devolves to the equivalent of "my dad can kick your dad's arse" level of commentary.

Im OK with Norris time being reinstated. However, Id like to see 'track deletion'-rule implemented the same on every circuit. We had the track limit discussion of where you gain time and where you dont. And they ended up just doing the hard and fast rule of "when you are outside of the white line, you are off the circuit regardless of gain/lost time or what not". The same should be done to deletion of the next lap. If you go over the white line at the exit of the last corner, your next lap gets removed as well.

Tires left for the weekend (used ones are all 3-7 laps old):

I guess Medium will be the preferred choice for the sprint?
