I wonder how big the changes it will be if both cars will have them. So far this season, most teams have upgraded one car at a time.De Jokke wrote: "You will see that will be on one car in P1, with the new rear floor on the other car in P1...we need to back-to-back the new front wing and rear floor modifications, so by P2 both cars will have converged on the same specification."
what you say is simply sad, your avatar by that explains alot.Timomies wrote:"Suprisingly" McLaren and Ferrari are getting major updates after summer break when factorys were closed. Well, cheating is in the DNA of Macca and Scuderia [-X

With 2010 tech regs being almost the same as this year it is feasible, but with 2010 dry weight limit of 620 kg and no refueling I don't expect that to be a good idea)))Also, how feasible is running next years car during this championship?
I think what works this year, will work next year. Teams just have to squeeze in a fuel tank thats twice as big as their current one into roughly the same package.timbo wrote:gibells wrote:Could developing next year's car during this year be down to the budgetary constraints enforced (?) so that the cost shows up in 09's balance sheet rather than 10's?
Nope. First of all there's no exactly budgetary constraints, secondly you do expect any team to develop the car since 01.01.10 until Melbourne GP ?

A lot of these updates were done before the Hungarian GP FYI. So just now in Valencia are they using them, since that's what they were planned for.Timomies wrote:"Suprisingly" McLaren and Ferrari are getting major updates after summer break when factorys were closed. How dare you accuse them of cheating? The time between Hungary & Valencia was 4 weeks long and the factories were only closed for two of those weeks, so they had plenty of time for updates. MAybe you should use more caution when calling certain teams cheaters!!!!Timomies wrote:"Suprisingly" McLaren and Ferrari are getting major updates after summer break when factorys were closed.
