This forum contains threads to discuss teams themselves. Anything not technical about the cars, including restructuring, performances etc belongs here.
It's the only thing he had to achieve and they did it on the only lap that counts. There is nothing yet to suggest we have the fastest car in F1. We won in Miami due to the luck of the safety car and we were not good enough for pole today, in part down to the tow Max got. But luck swings both ways. If we had the fastest car in F1 we'd not be worrying as much about luck.

McLaren was worthy of pole position, the drivers were not.

But I was replying to a post that said we have the fastest car in F1 right now, so I don't understand your responses which seem unrelated.
Regarding the separate point of the drivers, the drivers would have been on pole position without the .15 seconds Max got from a tow. Everyone was good enough for a pole position, only one can have it and luck doesn't always go your way.

Both Mclaren and our drivers were clearly worthy of pole. Max just happened to have been lucky for the TOW he got from Niko. Not sure if it was intentional but what can you do? In the end we know we can eat Max tomorrow without the TOW.
