Yeah but a few places ahead would have still been a big disappointment - where the pace has gone is the bigger question, as if they had more pace everything becomes easier. We see how Mercedes has suddenly jumped forward and that, to me, says that Red Bull were still not comfortable here and there was opportunity for any of the top teams. McLaren also not as strong as expected but I think they knew this wasn't their track. For Ferrari it's super weird as I don't see why, on paper, this shouldn't be a strong weekend for them (and they expected the same).
