Let's not get carried away yet. It was an impressive lap on the mediums, but it's FP3 and we don't know what the others are doing with engine modes and fuel levels. Based on all indications yesterday, it will be very tight at the front and the RedBull camp is much calmer compared to the past couple of weekends.

Very good lap from his older soft tyres. Could have been a 1,12,9 if they were fully new.

Decent lap on used softs, but that tire did quite a bit of mileage before he set his time, a good part of which was on a push lap.

Let's see how it stacks up against the others now, but he definitely has 1 or 2 tenths in hand.

He could have been 1,12,900 or 1,12,800 if it was a new soft and we still don't know if Mclaren is giving it all or can turn the engine up more.
