I suppose if you arent Red Bull, Ferrari or Mercedes then expect a penalty. Makes me wonder if there is corruption inside the FIA.

Yea reprimand for both.
What a load of bull. F1 living in fantasy land again
I guess it's perfectly normal to brake check and turn into drivers out of rage in track.
Seems so.
The pinnacle of motorsport, supposedly the best 20 drivers in the world and we are allowing them to set a driving example where break checking and banging wheels in rage is acceptable.
In the real world on normal roads Leclerc would have been blamed and made to pay for all the damage.

Oh well what do you expect when Silverstone are saying they haven’t sold out yet but the tickets are about 120% more expensive than 2 years ago….

really bad, they totally accepted he "misjudged" his position when he clearly, obviously deliberately hit him
It really is incredible how --- the stewards can be. Alonso gets 3 penalty points for Russell's lack of talent, Leclerc only gets a reprimand for driving into another car on purpose because he is annoyed. Can't make this stuff up...

Doesn't really matter now. Let's give it our all, get pole and win tomorrow.

A shame Oscar seems on the back foot here. With Ferrari bringing a hefty amount of upgrades, they're gonna be scoring big.

He usually finds more pace throughout qualifying. I don't think he will end up 7 tenths off.

Unfortunately there was another incident of deliberately driving into someone this year. I can't remember who but it was also a reprimand, which is why I thought this would be.

Totally disagree though but it was to be expected.

It's practice, there's no such thing as impeding in practice.
And for a good reason, everyone is running their own strategies, tests and warmup work.

I'd expect better from a technical forum.
Exactly this. Plus who does push laps AFTER time has expired in FP3??

they should throw the book at LEC for driving into another car on purpose
Anyone can push on that lap, it doesnt factor in. Lando should still be aware and try not to be in the way.

The only thing that counts is that there was space for Leclerc.and he slowed down and drove into a car anyway.

Slam dunk for me. There is no situation that justifies that. But it will likely be a warning...
Wrong though.

They're playing it safe with Oscar but he will be on the back foot for Q3. Unfortunate he didn't have the pace immediately in Q1.

PIA out on second set of new softs. Likely to just observe if times are improving before he starts his lap.

He aborted very early - he only took the straight and T1.
