My God, this announcer is the worst? Who is he? All he does is repeat the running order like a scratched record! ugh. If he's commenting on the qualifying later, I'm not watching Sky.
Harry Benjamin I believe. He needs to calm down. I don’t mind him on F2 and F3 but his ranting at the end of yesterday’s sprint quali has me turning the sound off…

At this rate I’ll be glad to have Croft back.
It is Harry Benjamin, he is usually lead commentator on BBC Radio team.

Now go ahead and tell us how Red Bull isn’t the fastest car by a mile and that Max is doing all the work! Thank you Max for proving my point at last mate! =D>

This is car has been, is and will continue to be 0,5 second quicker than anything else on track! Basically the rest managed to shrink the gap by around 0,2-0,3 since last year! Which is exactly how much a team can make up to its competitors through the winter! Last year Red Bull’s advantage was around 0,7-0,8 now it’s 0,-0,6! Anyone saying otherwise is either blind or just doesn’t want to see the truth!

Mind you this was supposed to be a track that “wouldn’t fit Red Bull”! Oh yeah, and it makes it even more embarrassing that Max had to fight or even lost wins in this spaceship of a car…

P.S. don’t know what Red Bull were thinking when renewing Perez! Probably they didn’t want to upset Max…

He’s from the Croft school of high-pitched garbage.

Sports broadcasting as a whole is a lost art IMHO.

Eloquence, passion, knowledge.

With those three things, less is often more in the comms box.

Sadly, Croft and Benjamin do not possess that trait.

I think Croft is the opposite of this Benjamin guy actually. Croft is much more measured and coherent, dare I say. I rather spend the afternoon listening to Croft and his ramblings that that string pulled repeater.

Harry Benjamin basically...

I agree. Nothing there. Kept going and never stopped. Track max time starts at the SC1 line thats at the pit exit.

...according to who? Red Bull was strong here last year. I don't know who you're talking about when you're saying that Red Bull wasn't expected to be strong here - last year, it was one of Verstappens most dominant tracks - so much so he could pit for fastest lap at the end or it. It's a very smooth track that suits their car very well.
