I agree. RBR also need more than 1 FP to properly adjust the car.

Really glad they added the gravel. That is such a better option for maintaining track limits. Corners with them will eliminate those annoying delayed lap deletions.

This is such an obvious, and simple, solution one wonders why it's not adopted at every track where this issue is present. A small concrete trench shaped so that it can be emptied and covered with suitable concrete panels if required.

For F1, the gravel is enough of a deterrent to prevent drivers taking the mickey but not so bad that a genuine run-wide moment isn't a car wrecking moment (we hope).

Yeap and that RB cannot be on curbs where the MCLaren and Ferrari can, doesn't play in RB hands

Quali not so important with 3 DRS zones and 90 degree turns, overtakes left right and center.
IMHO, this has McLaren and Norris written all over it.
Redbull will have done well if they achieve P3.

If it's a wet race, all bets are off, luck and strategy all the way ; since performance difference across 4 teams is marginal now.

For me Ferrari and McLaren will be ahead here. Already at Barcelona Ferrari already matched RB at a circuit which suits the rb20 and isn't favourable for the sf24. McLaren being ahead goes without saying

Indeed, it is an elegant solution. I know many circuits hate using gravel as permanent solution since track-day enthusiasts hate getting their cars wrecked when they go out. I think RB Ring is using gravel for the weekend and when it's done, they remove it and bolt down some curb-like bits there, really good solution if that's the case
