Mercedes just cant get away from Vasseur poaching. The italian media are saying that Ferrari will have a new technical director and it is not Serra. Sera will be under him and report to him. And they say it is not Newey but could be another big name from Mercedes. I just hope that it is not John Owen because he knows to much about the suspension and mechanical aspects.

I feel there’s a lot to still come out. Doubt Hamilton moved to Ferrari without some solid guarantee on recruitment & the engine. Serra comes in October

Merc was pretty lost last year, not sure he was expecting this resurgence....sometimes it's the moves you don't make that are the best! Did he borrow Alonso's crystal ball ?

I wonder when people will realize that not the people but the organization and culture are what make a team champion everywhere.

Even the current Mercedes turnaround is about the culture change, James and Toto said a couple of times, they reorganised and did due diligence and changed how teams interact with each other, how the meetings are held etc. etc.

Another example from Norris saying that Stella did not hire new people but maximised how those people contributed to the project.

It would be tremendous news for Mercedes if Mike Elliot becomes technical director at Ferrari. But I dont dare to dream that he goes to Ferrari because of Serra. They hade a bitter moment about W13 and the future directions for development. But you gave me some hope, Im starting to dream that he goes to Ferrari.

Benjamin Guignard (aerodynamicist) to Mercedes after 5 years at Alpha Tauri. Another mid-level engineer from Alpha Tauri to Mercedes in the last months. He is not a top dog, but maybe he brings some secretes from the Red Bull family. :D
