I feel there’s a lot to still come out. Doubt Hamilton moved to Ferrari without some solid guarantee on recruitment & the engine. Serra comes in Octobermclaren_mircea wrote: ↑09 Jul 2024, 10:39https://it.motorsport.com/f1/news/f1-fe ... /10633304/
Mercedes just cant get away from Vasseur poaching. The italian media are saying that Ferrari will have a new technical director and it is not Serra. Sera will be under him and report to him. And they say it is not Newey but could be another big name from Mercedes. I just hope that it is not John Owen because he knows to much about the suspension and mechanical aspects.
Merc was pretty lost last year, not sure he was expecting this resurgence....sometimes it's the moves you don't make that are the best! Did he borrow Alonso's crystal ball ?DGP123 wrote: ↑09 Jul 2024, 11:46I feel there’s a lot to still come out. Doubt Hamilton moved to Ferrari without some solid guarantee on recruitment & the engine. I wonder when people will realize that not the people but the organization and culture are what make a team champion everywhere.mclaren_mircea wrote: ↑09 Jul 2024, 10:39https://it.motorsport.com/f1/news/f1-fe ... /10633304/

It would be tremendous news for Mercedes if Mike Elliot becomes technical director at Ferrari. But I dont dare to dream that he goes to Ferrari because of Serra. They hade a bitter moment about W13 and the future directions for development. But you gave me some hope, Im starting to dream that he goes to Ferrari.FlYiNgIcEmAn wrote: ↑09 Jul 2024, 13:57Mike Elliot?mclaren_mircea wrote: ↑09 Jul 2024, 10:39https://it.motorsport.com/f1/news/f1-fe ... /10633304/

We have a vacant position for a CTO at RBR as well.mclaren_mircea wrote: ↑09 Jul 2024, 15:28It would be tremendous news for Mercedes if Mike Elliot becomes technical director at Ferrari.
