HOLY --- CHARLES! All session he was down in S1 and then he improved massively for his last lap!!!

T1 was wide all but 2 times during the sessions. Final lap was on the apex at T1. Seems like it helped rotate. S2 was def wetter on the last run.

everyone does that, it's a tight corner with lots of rubber on the inside, when that's the case you get better traction on the outside and widening the corner so you end up gaining.

however sainz's last attempt in t1 was absolutely awful and ruined his lap there.

Going used -> new was a good gamble by Ferrari in Q3 with the threat of more rain coming (opposite to what Merc and McLaren did). Now they have a car on pole that doesn't deserve it on pure pace, and have a reasonable shot at the win or a great result at least

Seriously, it's hilarious how not even 10 minutes before this lap, everyone on every other site was talking about how Leclerc is "washed" and "terrible" today LMAO.

Really sucks for Sainz that his last lap was also his worst one when most of his other laps this session were great, I legitimately think we could've had a 1-2 start here.

But even if Leclerc loses P1 because of the slipstream tomorrow, there's plenty of chances during the race for Perez to make mistakes and Leclerc to retake it.

Sainz HAS been better recently in mixed conditions tbh. I'm saying this as a fan of Charles.

Tomorrow is forecast to be dry, but its the f3 and f2 races that will do the grip for Perez position, and its prolly no chance here at the start.
