What did Sainz do?
*scratch that*
He was not speaking about Russell, he was talking about Sainz
As far as I've seen there was a call form the box so not sure it was him forcing the team. Was there some communication that wasn't aired ?
Would slow him down a little, but its more of a principle thing. Like we all know now why he did itScuderiaLeo wrote: ↑28 Jul 2024, 18:23I don't think it made that much of a difference guys. Yes, middle stint strategy could've been better for both cars to maximize (natural) podium chances, but the other 3 teams were much faster. Provided Leclerc still had the slow stop, it wouldn't have made a difference in the end. Do you really think Sainz would've been able to defend against Hamilton on those awful mediums?
Team said do more laps, he called for box himself.AtOmIc wrote: ↑28 Jul 2024, 18:22As far as I've seen there was a call form the box so not sure it was him forcing the team. Was there some communication that wasn't aired ?
Also I think whoever made a call for sainz to pit made the wrong one. He could have done one stop, not win but he could have been further up the road
Where did you hear that? On the radio he was asking for more laps, also I heard box box from the team. Also on post race interviews he said the same. Not saying you're laying I'm just surprised since I didn't see anywhere.Bole wrote: ↑28 Jul 2024, 18:26Team said do more laps, he called for box himself.AtOmIc wrote: ↑28 Jul 2024, 18:22As far as I've seen there was a call form the box so not sure it was him forcing the team. This seems like a bad faith interpretation. He wasn't good on the medium tires and he wanted to box because he felt like he was going to lose positions staying on them. Acting like he had some big conspiracy to make Leclerc's life harder is ridiculous.

Didn't saw that thanks. Honestly don't think that it would have made any difference..Bole wrote: ↑28 Jul 2024, 18:41

Yeah, this tbh. We lacked a bit of raw pace but are back within touching distance - seems like they have the issues under control but seemingly just not quite fully on the pace. It’s better performance than i expected and we scored more points than Red Bull + Charles out scored Max and Lando. Let’s hope they took a good lesson from the Spain upgrade (like Zanvort last year) and it enables them to make the next step change.
