Good everywhere, not the best in anything. McLaren, Mercedes and Red Bull each have their specialty. McLaren medium speed, Mercedes low speed, Red Bull high speed.

Nugnes failed again, as usual
McL just brought a significant upgrade by the way.Luscion wrote: ↑22 Aug 2024, 18:27I think Merc is a good example of how quickly things can change and how unpredictable the season can be, they started the season in no man's land being 4th fastest, too slow for the top 3, fast enough to keep everyone else well behind them. then they started getting poles, podiums and winning races, something i myself didnt see happening. Dont see why Ferrari cant do the same
The car is usually terrible in wet conditions but who knows, it's a roulette at this pointSpace-heat wrote: ↑23 Aug 2024, 13:15Are we hoping for a wet weekend? Seems like the current car issues might be somewhat diminished in wet conditions.
Although I think Merc and McL were clear in Silverstone in the wet.
Yes, I think that was due to the tyre temp issue. That seems to have been less of an issue recently. Only thought is they can run as low as they want in the wet as the speed is reduced, but you are right, absolute roulette.Xyz22 wrote: ↑23 Aug 2024, 13:18The car is usually terrible in wet conditions but who knows, it's a roulette at this pointSpace-heat wrote: ↑23 Aug 2024, 13:15Are we hoping for a wet weekend? Fairs, lol.
Charles push was on softs that has done 1/2 of a push lap so probably not representative. P6 is looking best case, Perez is nowhere and got in Charles way twice. Race pace looked not miles behind when Charles was out of traffic. Race pace will look worse than it was because of Perez and later Ocon/Zhou.
