I dont think it was really RB's decision here. When somebody doesn't want to work for you anymore, it usually makes most sense to just let them go.selvam_e2002 wrote: ↑25 Aug 2024, 07:35Newly gone and red bull in back foot. not sure why they let him go
If anything Norris is at a point where he will be desperate to finally make it through T1 on top. That desperation may be capitalised on by MaxSergej wrote: ↑25 Aug 2024, 09:56barring any strange events, I can see Lando disappearing into the distance, while Max will have hard time in keeping Oscar behind; P2 would be a great result with "only" 7 points lost
also, I hope Max will use his head at the start, I know that he will want to pass in T1, but a DNF is unaffordable at this point.
Yeah, but Red Bull could have played a role in Newey not wanting to work there anymore.Seanspeed wrote: ↑25 Aug 2024, 10:00I dont think it was really RB's decision here. Yes, track conditions were all over the place yesterday with wind playing an important factor. There were laps from Lando where he had piss-poor understeer there as well.Juzh wrote: ↑25 Aug 2024, 14:00it got better in q3 in this particular cornerAR3-GP wrote: ↑24 Aug 2024, 22:28The amount of understeer is remarkable.

Max is using high-load wing actually, I missed this yesterday. Perez is using mid-load wingAR3-GP wrote: ↑24 Aug 2024, 22:44There can be differences in the beam wing and deployment. They are also using the high load engine cover.
