And dont bravo engineers that they were able to customize the car for both drivers? huh?

Sadly, I was wrong, it was 25.4s
The gaps at the end weren't real. Norris could have easily been 40 seconds ahead of Max. Max also wasn't pushing. There was nothing to fight for in the 2nd stint. He lapped 1.15.0 from the first pit stop until the end of the race. Leclerc was being pushed by Piastri.Vanja #66 wrote: ↑25 Aug 2024, 17:00Sadly, I was wrong, it was 25.4sNorris was better than I expected, or rather he wasn't as punished for a bad start as I expected (Piastri's bad start saved him).
Finishing under 3s from Max is absolutely bonkers, if Russell didn't hold up Piastri and Leclerc by 5s there would have been a proper fight for P2![]()
Yeah, Norris should have lapped Max really. Max could have lapped Leclerc too. Mercedes should have lapped Leclerc as wellAR3-GP wrote: ↑25 Aug 2024, 17:02The gaps at the end weren't real. That's not what I said, but okay.Vanja #66 wrote: ↑25 Aug 2024, 17:05Yeah, Norris should have lapped Max really. Max could have lapped Leclerc too. Both statements are equally close to realityAR3-GP wrote: ↑25 Aug 2024, 17:06That's not what I said, but okay.Vanja #66 wrote: ↑25 Aug 2024, 17:05Yeah, Norris should have lapped Max really. They put both pilots upgrades from Spa, RB is also losing pace with upgrades, but let's not give in, only Ferrari are not good at upgrades
I think Hungary showed how quickly and how well they can react. McLaren also didn't touch the tunnels of the floor since Miami, only small geometry changes on diffuser and changing where the floor edge brackets are here. Their new mid-high load rear wing alone is the biggest update since Miami, not even front wing changes were so meaningful according to team itself. However, that rear wing won't be used again until Brasil, maybe Texas, so they won't be able to benefit from it in the next few races
How you doing there champ? Everything alright? We're all looking forward to you weighing in after the raceSeanspeed wrote: ↑25 Aug 2024, 09:559 tenths off on a 70 second lap. It's embarrassing.
Even if this is a worst case track, I'm still fully expecting the car to barely scrape podiums without some luck going forward, and finishing 4th in the WCC. This is not 'competitive'.
I cannot grasp where people's optimism is coming from.
Hopefully they can figure it out for the 2025 car with a bit of a stronger front end would unlock a lot of confidence with LEC, not sure what HAM likes, but I've read that is closer to LEC than SAI in terms of how he likes the car..Fakepivot wrote: ↑25 Aug 2024, 18:27sainz now said what we been talking about here https://www.threads.net/@better.be.a.bo ...
