I think there's a lot of wishful thinking with the WDC. Norris is not good enough this year.

It's not that Lando isn't good enough, it's that McLaren have made some stupid decisions in pursuit
of the constructor's championship. Oscar mugging Lando on the first lap has likely cost McLaren the win
today. They should have held station, built a gap over Leclerc and then raced.

Questions need to be asked of McLaren on the pitwall.

It’s not the first time that McLaren have thrown away the WDC with the fastest car (2005, 2007). Thought the culture would have changed with the new guard. Couldn’t have been more wrong.

We will never know if Piastri could have won without stopping for a second time but doing a stop here MADE NO SENSE. I am super super mad. I am also quite mad that Piastri was so forceful in T2 (almost a crash) then the team protects with Piastri against Norris instead of kept him ahead of Leclerc. Super super stupid.

I bet Norris will end up less than 17 points behind Verstappen.

Just didn’t give themselves enough laps against a very good Ferrari.

Need a lot more ruthlessness with the strategy.

Nothing wrong with the Lando v Piastri thing- Lando got done fair and square and frankly hasn’t shown a Champion season - he’s having a great season but not a Championship one and Oscar has performed yet again.

That should have been a 1-2 or 1-3 at worst.

He doesn't deserve it. He's too far back and had a so so grand prix, getting mugged by his "Slow" team mate.

That's rich so Norris shouldn't have swapped in Hungary? Piastri obviously didn't deserve it he had a so so last stint?

Lando should have engaged his brain then. Gave the place back early and then fought. He chose the screw himself.

Another wasted win, Piastri first stop was not necessary at all... so soon, and then they could have had only one.

Good to have the best car of the grid, but strategy is poor and many wasted races!

But, tge plan was for a 2 stop, and that's why Piastri was gunning all those fastest laps. The Mclaren wasn't great on its tyres.

PA screw Norris in first lap so Lecrec gained a place and Norris cannot over take him. If PA behind Norris(the move which PA did caused Norris position) McLaren easy 1 and 2 now they are 2 and 3. Not good as a team. and PA should behind the Norris and the move 1 first lap is unnecessary.

Lando almost always comes off poorer. At some point you realise it's more than just poor luck.

The overtake was too strong but It was also fair.

Piastri gave the win to Ferrari. We can say that now. I cant understand why the team is not supporting Norris in his effort. Of course he is also to blame. His driving today was underwhelming. He made a mistake and since he was going to have two pit stops he should be faster.
