Australian McLaren driver Oscar Piastri has won his second career victory at Baku in what he dubbed was a very stressful afternoon. Pole sitter Charles Leclerc finished in second place while Mercedes' George Russell completed the podium.
showing the old guys how is done.fuel saving tire saving has ruin f1 drivers no longer push flat out they end end up losing their natural instinct to go all out
Lewis is finished as a qualifier now, shades of Lauda in the twilight years of his career are showing. Can't beat them on a Saturday so all the focus should go into the Sunday.
Only thing I can think of is that Lewis has been always kinder on his tyres than George and this time it means he can't get the temp in. Possibly set up and just not as fast as he used to be which is what allows him to be usually the faster driver on the Sunday? Regardless, it's still not good enough for the calibre of driver that he is.
Yay Charles!!!!!
Good job Piastri and Checo.
Hamilton just doesn't have qualy pace this season.
Colapinto, Bearman great job... sorry old guard but you need to go.
