Positive side is the pace again.
And Red Bull not so far, can be beaten in WCC
Crash is not his fault. But nothing would have happened without the attack.Xyz22 wrote:I think Sainz can risk a grid penalty in Singapore
You have 0 way of knowing that. Charles said the setup made it super difficult to manage in the race and the hards felt really bad.yooogurt wrote: ↑15 Sep 2024, 15:34it was a free win, the car was the fastest, just had to close the line once / twice while he warmed up the tyres at the beginning of the second stint, and I'm sure he would have brought 10 seconds at least to Oscar.ScuderiaLeo wrote: ↑15 Sep 2024, 15:27"Free win"
When will people learn there are no free wins this season?
We shouldn't be in that situation in the first place with a 6s advantage in the first stint. Just poorly managed by everyone.yooogurt wrote: ↑15 Sep 2024, 15:34it was a free win, the car was the fastest, just had to close the line once / twice while he warmed up the tyres at the beginning of the second stint, and I'm sure he would have brought 10 seconds at least to Oscar.ScuderiaLeo wrote: ↑15 Sep 2024, 15:27"Free win"

He slightly moved to the left... I have bad vibes
He was ahead and following race line. Checo had half track available to his left and knows the racing line.
As i said tyres were finished. Gaining 6s on a McLaren is not free. The slow intro is --- insane, this can't be just due to Leclerc alone. They probably decided this with the team. It was stupid.Emag wrote: ↑15 Sep 2024, 15:42Horrible last two laps by Leclerc and shocking outlap compared to Oscar :

The tyre was completely gone. Ferrari should have pitted the lap Piastri did since they would have known thatEmag wrote: ↑15 Sep 2024, 15:42Horrible last two laps by Leclerc and shocking outlap compared to Oscar :

Charles was right not to attack at the beginning of the stint, yes he let Oscar get closer, but it is important for the whole stint that the tyres were enough, and he could easily defend the position and continue to increase the advantage, while Oscar would have killed his tyres in the dirty air, but in the end Charles as in Miami slept Oscar's divebomb, and ruined everything.
3s difference in the outlap is crazy, absolutely crazy.Emag wrote: ↑15 Sep 2024, 15:42Horrible last two laps by Leclerc and shocking outlap compared to Oscar :

Exactly. All rear wings flex, and you can see the gap increases slightly in all rear wings on high-speed. But I have never seen a rear wing flex at the tips like that. Minimal drag reduction, but a reduction nonetheless.CaribouBread wrote: ↑15 Sep 2024, 15:53I'm sure the teams noticed this behavior well before we've noticed it. So, you compete with this by making something similar.
