McLaren's Lando Norris did what was expected and took pole position for the Singaporean Grand Prix, a track which is notorious for its difficulty to overtake on. Max Verstappen was second fastest as the Mercedes duo will start the race from the second row on the grid.

I agree with you, a crash for both wins him the title with very few races left. McLaren/ Lando has to come up with the best alternative strategy. If I was Lando I will take the 2nd place and try an undercut. But who knows what or how the race will pan out, it’s tough against Max. The RBR school of thoughts are simply nerve wrecking. Honestly Lando is very much a gentleman.
This is definitely an interesting top 4 for this track. The start is going to be wild. Theres a story to each driver behind the other. VER wants to take back his dominance from NOR, no need to say anything about HAM/VER, RUS trying to prove he’s the Alpha at Merc.
Russell doesn't go balls to wall approach at the start, definitely not with Lewis. He would like to keep it more civil, unless there is harakiri from around. Almost all of the front running cars on that side of the track lost out due to a puddle forming somewhere around P1 track position. All of them lost crucial traction to T1. Just one of many cases of Singapore curse for Ferrari
