Mercedes installed some steel rods instead of suspensions. That car is chattering a lot in any quick corner.

Interesting that Merc and McLaren brought the biggest update package and they seemed to struggle most with handling. (among the top teams at least)
I guess it's too early to tell that bad upgrade paths or good ones, just taking time to dial in.

Watched FP1.
Not going to take into account laptimes, except the quali-sim S runs (even which, might differ w.r.t engine/fuel across teams), but basing how the cars "looked" body language wise, on their S run.

Redbull and Ferrari look like not having any troubles.
Mercedes is struggling, even discounting wind effects. Both drivers aren't able to keep within track limits in a lot of places.
McLaren also seemed to not keep within track limits, but didn't look unstable like Mercedes.

If I recall correctly, the only guy who didn't breach track limits on S was VER. He ran a single quali sim lap and made it count.

Yet everybody was here whining last year during the dominance. Disappear now that it's interesting :wtf:
WDC is pretty much decided. The remaining races feel like a dead rubber. The season is just too long.

I still can't understand how they can't even solve bumping problems after resurfacing.

They cut corners when building the circuit in terms of drainage and the land underneath the track constantly sinks/moves as a result.

Very hard to read into the FP1.

The Ferraris looked very good.

Lando behind Max just but had a big off. So not really reflective.

Max dd his lap very early.

Mercs looked all over the place.

Lando has the car to beat again, not really hard to read this. Ferrari might be again faster than red bull, which was very evident in Singapore. Mercedes not to far behind red bull, but struggle with setup/upgrades and lack of practice.
