Yes, different program. But as I said, it is not the first time they did it. I know it because I am a McLaren fan and I am always trying to gauge the pace compared to Red Bull. Red Bull just did 1 stint on hard, then went to the pit for 10-15 minutes and came out on softs for the rest of the session.
It was a different program.
I can say as a McLaren fan that you shouldn't read into it too much. They just think this is better use of their time.
